Meet Jon
Senior Assistant District Attorney for New Hanover and Pender Counties for nine (9) years.
14 years of prosecution experience in Southeastern NC and Miami, Florida.
Over 100 jury trials, including some of the most high profile cases in the area.
Special Assistant US Attorney for the Eastern District of NC, serving Brunswick, Bladen and Columbus Counties.
Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at UNCW.
Education:
Florida State University- Bachelor in Criminology (with Honors);
University of Florida College of Law- Juris Doctorate (Chairman Moot Court).
Recent Awards:
2009 FBI Director’s Award for Criminal Investigation of the Year (National Award);
2008 Recipient of the Men for Change Award for Prosecution in Domestic Violence Cases (Statewide Award).
